I attended GeekGirlCon last year, and it was so awesome it became my #1 show choice for 2012. I've attended other conventions, but there was just something different about the feel of GeekGirlCon. It had a positive energy, an openness, and a friendliness to it that I absolutely loved. I was also highly impressed with how well it was run, especially considering it was a brand new convention! I was sad when it was over (2 days was not enough!), but I'd made some new friends and was very eager for 2012. :)
As a vendor this year I won't be able to see as much of the Con as I would like (I wish I could both vend and attend!), but I love what I do and I get to meet so many more awesome people than when I'm hurrying on my way from one panel to the next. I am hoping to be able to attend a panel or two since there will be a special helper in the booth (the very person who got me started in jewelry!). Here's my panel/activity wishlist:
