My health is a roller coaster, with peaks and valleys and sometimes it throws me for a loop. A few weeks ago it surprised me with another loop exactly like last summer's and I've been stuck in a valley.
Now, I finally feel like I can see the start of a new peak. It may just be me being hopeful, but it will happen eventually. It always does.
I'm working on learning to just ride the roller coaster and accept it for what it is, instead of trying to force its shape into something it's not. I've never been a fan of roller coasters, so it may take some time. Someday I hope to be able to just enjoy the ride (or at least the peaks, as they come).
